About the artist
Lee Winright is a solo artist (and full band) based out of the Texas Hill Country, who finds himself truly in-tune with his music. Derived roots in Americana, his genre seems to encompass a full-bodied mix of blues, country, rock, and heroic harmony. Paying his dues, Winright has found himself employed with national acts, such as The Chicks, Jack Ingram, Robert Earl Keen, Charlie Robison, John Hiatt, Kelley Willis, Bruce Robison, and Robyn Ludwick. He also played guitar alongside Charlie Robison for crowds of more than 50,000. He has opened for and performed with James McMurtry, The McKay Brothers, Stoney LaRue, Midnight River Choir, Charlie Robison, Joe Ely, Bruce Robison, Cowboy Mouth, and Jack Ingram on a national level. Most recently, he and the band had a residency at The Continental Club, Austin, TX. Lee Winright’s media value soared with potential when his debut album, "Nobody Saw It Coming" gained airplay (KFAN, TABC RADIO, RADIO FREE TEXAS) in Texas alongside interviews with Texas Rising Star, San Antonio Magazine, TAG Magazine, Texas Music, Frio In Focus, and STEAM Magazine. After performing on FOX NEWS AT NINE, Great Day SA and KABB San Antonio, Lee finished the follow-up album "Time Between Times". With his focus on captivating audiences on a national level, Lee recently wrapped up a tour of New York, Colorado, California, Idaho, Washington, and Texas.
